This is an interesting opportunity to correspond and learn with Paul Woods a
respected professional artist. With Paul's guidance you will develop greater
skills, gain a better understanding and appreciation of art that will increase
your enjoyment and satisfaction. Paul will asses your images giving you a full
an honest written critique making constructive suggestions. He will talk through
any projects you wish to undertake and advise you on appropriate actions. If you
desire he will set you projects and tasks for you to complete and suggest study
ideas for you to consider such as the works of other artists to study or books
to read. Paul will guide you through the most affective creative ways of working
from photographic source materials as well as directly from life.
To initiate the course and to asses your current abilities there will be a free
consultation. Paul would need to see examples of your work, if available.
These can be sent via email or post. Paul will identify your strengths and
weaknesses, discuss your requirements and the direction you wish to pursue and
develop a personal structure that will be delivered at a pace dictated by you in
order for you to best improve your overall abilities.
Paul will be available to correspond with you at any time during your course by
email and post. At pre arranged times communication can be done via Skype (Skype
to Skype only) or telephone (no mobiles).

Paul Woods is a very accomplished artist working mainly with figure studies and
portraiture. He has exhibited widely in the UK, Belgium, Denmark, France and the
United States. Paul is a facilitator and tutor for a number of art groups and
has been teaching privately for nearly 15 years. Paul has also appeared many
times on television, worked with and contributed to television production
companies.
WHO: This course is open to artists of all abilities from beginners to more
accomplished artists.
CREATIVE MEDIA: Paul Woods is prepared to tutor artists working with drawing and
painting.
